Have you ever seen a sweet lemon? I know one!
Allow me to introduce you to a truly sweet and cute lemon 🙂
This Free crochet Lemon pattern includes instructions for crocheting lemons in two sizes. If you make a large lemon using sport weight yarn and a 1.5-2.5 mm crochet hook, you will have a toy that is the size of a real lemon. The small lemon version can be used as a keychain or as an accessory for a toy kitchen, for example.
So let’s get started and have a happy crocheting!

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
Yarn: Sport weight yarn in lemon (light yellow) color.
Used yarn: cotton/acrylic yarn 160m/50g (Sport weight yarn 4ply).
– 1.5 mm crochet hook
– 6 mm safety eyes
– tapestry needle
– embroidery needle
– thin black embroidery thread
– pins
– stitch markers
– scissors
– toy stuffing
SIZE
Large lemon: 7.0×5.2 cm (2.8х2.0 inch), small lemon: 6.2×4.5 cm (2.4х1.8 inch), if using the indicated yarn.

inc – increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)

PLEASE NOTE
Work in continuous rounds using a stitch marker at the beginning of the round unless otherwise specified. This pattern is meant for an easy skill level. Please make sure you already have the necessary crochet skills, as this pattern does not include crocheting lessons.

LARGE LEMON
In lemon color yarn.
Stuff as you go.
Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: 6 sc [6]
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc)*3 times [9]
Rnd 4: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc)*2 times, 1 sc [12]
Rnd 5: (1 sc, inc)*6 times [18]
Rnd 6: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc)*5 times, 1 sc [24]
Rnd 7: 24 sc [24]
Rnd 8: (3 sc, inc)*6 times [30]
Rnd 9: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*5 times, 2 sc [36]
Rnd 10: (5 sc, inc)*6 times [42]
Rnds 11-20 (10 rounds): 42 sc [42]
If you are using safety eyes, insert them between rounds 16 and 17 with 7 stitches apart (see the photo below).
Rnd 21: (5 sc, dec)*6 times [36]
Rnd 22: 2 sc, dec, (4 sc, dec)*5 times, 2 sc [30]
Rnd 23: (3 sc, dec)*6 times [24]
Rnd 24: 24 sc [24]

Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail.
Weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the remaining stitches using a tapestry needle and pull it tight to close. Weave in the yarn end (see photos below).
Embroider a smile using black embroidery thread.
